One Small Step...

On Friday, Matthew took his first unassisted steps (not on purpose). The door he was holding on to closed without him... and he took a couple of steps to keep from falling. And then he fell.

On Sunday, he took his first intentional unassisited steps... We cought some of these on video:

Balancing Act

Over the last two weeks we've been partying like crazy! 1 wedding and 2 birthday parties have made for busy weekends... but we've had a great time. Now for some pics...

Matthew really enjoyed the toy door Kevin, Patrick and Thomas had... He just might get one for his birthday (shhh).

Wow, he went to Samantha's b-day party and got to bring home some toys! Thanks Aunt Cindy, Uncle Jim and Cousin Samantha!

We have also found that he really likes watermelon, yum!

And he's working on a new trick...

and wants to be just like daddy....

Stats Check

Matthew just had his 9 month checkup, here are his latest stats:
Height: 27.75 " (30%, not as short as I thought!)
Weight: 17 lbs 13 oz (10%, he's thinning out)
# Teeth: 8

He's in good health!
